Ballet for poise Ballet for placement Ballet balance Ballet for flexibility

Female gymnasts have ballet training sessions with coach Nataliya Marakova in Plano or with coach Tatyana Shadenko in Frisco several times per week. In addition, they receive coaching on the dance elements of their beam and floor routines.During the ballet training sessions, the gymnasts execute a range of barre exercises designed to develop flexibility, placement, articulation of the feet, and a pleasing line.  Following the exercises at the barre, the gymnasts practice basic tumbling, technique, and leaps with an emphasis on proper form and technique.
